A Day of Writing by the Shore:  Come spend a day thinking about, talking about, but mostly writing your stories at a lovely spot in Round Pond, Maine. Thursday, September 12, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., Round Pond, Maine. (Limited to eight participants, $60) More information can be found on this page.

Tales of the Merry Barn:Merry Barn Logo Do you have memories of attending dances at Edgecomb’s Merry Barn? Would you like to try your hand at writing a story about those times? On October 26, from 3:00 – 5:30, we’ll craft our stories, and then we’ll share a light supper. At 7:00, the public will be invited to come hear those tales read aloud, with the proceeds of the evening going to support the programs of the Merry Barn Writers’ Retreat. (No charge to writers, no limit on number of writers)

I am in the process of planning two sets of memoir workshops of six weeks each, to be held Wednesdays and Thursdays from October 16th through November 21st. Actual times, locations, and fees still to be determined. Please let me know if you are interested by completing the sign up form.
